The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has scheduled October 14 for its Computer-Based Test (CBT) recruitment examination for applicants under the Superintendent Cadre across the six geopolitical zones of the country.
The announcement was made on Friday via the Service’s verified X handle and Facebook page.
According to the statement, the final CBT examination for all successful Superintendent Cadre applicants will be held simultaneously across designated states and centres, in line with each candidate’s state of origin.
The NCS explained that the shortlisted candidates are those whose documents have been verified and who have completed both the pre-test and live test stages.
It added that the CBT recruitment examinations for the Inspectorate and Customs Assistant cadres were conducted earlier on October 9.
Candidates who qualified for this stage are required to log in with their National Identification Number (NIN) at https://updates.customs.gov.ng to access their examination details, including the assigned centres. They are also to print coloured examination slips for presentation at the venues.
“The examination will be conducted concurrently in the following designated centres across the zones:
South-West: Lagos and Osun; South-East: Enugu and Abia; South-South: Rivers and Edo; North-Central: Abuja and Kwara; North-East: Bauchi and Adamawa; and North-West: Kaduna and Sokoto,” the statement said.
The Service warned that candidates must report strictly to their assigned examination centres as indicated on their slips, noting that failure to comply could lead to disqualification.
It further stated that additional details and specific instructions on the examination process will be communicated through the Recruitment Update Portal, emphasising that this stage is strictly for successful applicants of the Superintendent Cadre.
