Strike by workers of the handling company has stalled air transport at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja.
One of the passengers, who was billed to board Rwandan Air early this morning told ASHENEWS that the workers had blocked the entrance to the departure hall.
“We have been waiting to board Rwandan air since the early hours of this morning but the entrance is restricted due to the strike,” he said.
The strike has left many passengers stranded at the entrance of the departure wing.
When ASHENEWS contacted the spokesperson of FAAN, Mrs Hope-Ivbaze Faithful on the development, she said she was out of town.
“I am not there now. I am presently in Kano. But I will make my inquiries and get back,” she said.
This is a developing story. Details will follow.
