ASHENEWS reports that a late-night inferno was recorded at the Adamu Augie College of Education Argungu, in Kebbi State.
It was gathered that the fire, which started at about 8:30 pm on Friday burnt down some less important documents and furniture.
According to an eyewitness, the fire started while most people were preparing for late-night prayers.
As of the time of filing this report, the cause of the fire remained unknown.
When contacted, Engineer Hashimu Magaji the institution’s director works told our reporter that the provost is in a better position to comment on the incident.
All efforts made to hear from the provost of the college however proved abortive.
