The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has detained the Director General of Voice of Nigeria (VON) Osita Okechukwu.
He was reportedly detained on Saturday over alleged case of conspiracy, abuse of office and misappropriation of public funds to the tune of N1.3 billion.
Okechukwu, who reportedly arrived the commission headquarters at about 1.30pm to honour its invitation, was still being detained at the time of filing this report.
When ASHENEWS called the spokesperson of the commission, Wilson Uwujaren for comment, the call went unanswered.
