Christians in Niger State have extended their heartfelt condolences to the people of Mokwa Local Government Area over the devastating flood that wreaked havoc in several communities.

In a condolence message made available to journalists on Sunday, the state chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev. Bulus Dauwa Yohanna, expressed solidarity on behalf of the entire Christian community and assured the victims of continued prayers and support.
Rev. Yohanna stated that Christians across the state deeply sympathize with families who lost loved ones in the disaster, reaffirming their commitment to stand by those affected.
“On behalf of the entire Christendom in the state, I extend our heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones. We stand with everyone who has suffered in this disaster,” he said.
He also commended government authorities at all levels for their swift response in mobilizing resources and providing support to the affected communities through relevant agencies.
Rev. Yohanna further encouraged residents to remain hopeful and proactive in recovery efforts to ensure that Mokwa emerges stronger from the crisis.
“While we continue in our prayers for you, we urge you to remain hopeful and resilient,” he added.
