In the face of the increasing banditry in Niger state, six informants have been arrested by security agencies for passing information to bandits.
ASHENEWS gathered that the informants were arrested in Shiroro and Munya local government areas of Niger state.
A security source said that the informants were arrested while on their way to give information about the movement of troops deployed to the areas to bandits.
While one of the informants is reported to be a medical doctor, others are youths and farmers.
