NigeriaDecides2023: ASHENEWS reports that residents of Minna, in Niger State trooped out in their numbers to vote in the ongoing elections in the country.
Our correspondent who went around some polling units in the area observed that the residents, who came out early had queued in an orderly manner before officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the voting process open.

At the Chanchaga Primary school in Minna, our correspondent witnessed the commencement of voting around 09:13 am while residents waited in the queue.
The Supervisory Presiding Officer, Odoh Justina told our reporter that the voting process had commenced a little bit behind schedule because the officials were waiting on their counterparts in polling units close to the area to commence the process.

At the Kofar Shaba polling unit, also in the Chanchaga area of the state, voting commenced around 09:20 am, with a large turnout of voters.
Also, a large number of voters were seen at the Dutsen Kura Primary School in Minna.
Our correspondent gathered that voting commenced around 11:00 am with an overwhelming number of women voters.
