ASHENEWS reports that the Niger state governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago says that his administration is seeking partnerships with the Dubai Emirates in the areas of agricultural and environmental sustainability.
A statement issued by the Chief Press to the Governor, Bologi Ibrahim said that the governor stated this when he paid an advocacy visit to the King of Dubai, Saeed Al-Maktoon in Dubai.
The move, according to the governor was part of his continued drive towards repositioning Niger State.

“The Governor whose mission was to promote his green economy initiative, and to seek support from critical stakeholders from the International scene to fast-track its implementation to the benefit of Africa and beyond.
“He also had a discussion with Sheikh Al-Maktoon on possible investment in Agriculture and Infrastructure.”
The governor who is attending the Dubai climate change summit in Dubai reached an agreement with the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI).
According to the government, the partnership seeks to enhance agricultural technology, including mechanized farming equipment, renewable energy solutions, and food processing technology, and provide technical support.
