The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced a new date for the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), shifting it from April 5 to April 10, 2025.
According to JAMB, the adjustment will allow the board to finalize necessary preparations and integrate various innovations and enhancements aimed at delivering a seamless examination experience. The change also accommodates the increased number of examination centers for the 2025 exercise.
While the Mock UTME will now be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, the main UTME is scheduled to commence on April 25, 2025.
In a statement, JAMB emphasized that the decision aligns with global best practices and recent research on examination methodologies. The board reiterated its commitment to optimizing the mock exam’s purpose, which serves as a preparatory platform for candidates.
Candidates are advised to monitor official announcements for updates on the printing of their Mock Notification Slip, which will contain details of their designated examination centers.
