The representative for Shiroro, Rafi, and Munya constituency, Isma’il Modibbo, has strongly condemned the recent banditry attack on lives and properties of the people of Madaka in Rafi local government area of Niger state.
Modibbo, speaking to ASHENEWS, expressed concern, while extending prayers to the deceased and the overall victims of the dreaded incident.
Acknowledging the urgent need for assistance, Modibbo has mobilized resources worth over a million naira.
He offered to pay for the hospital bills of the victims of the attack, admitted to Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida Specialist Hospital in Minna.
When questioned about the motivation behind his actions, Modibbo explained, “They voted us to help them when they are facing challenges and here is one of the top challenges we are facing in the nation and we will keep on rendering support in our best possible ways.”
In addressing the persistent banditry plaguing the region for decades, Modibbo maintained discretion about his plans but expressed confidence in the strategies and collaboration with relevant security agencies.
“With the plans we have on the ground and the collaboration with relevant security agencies, this banditry activities will soon come to an end.” Modibbo Stated.

Looking ahead, he emphasized the need for robust security architecture and a decisive security program to address the root cause of insecurity in the constituency.
