Funke Fadugba, CHAIRPERSON]

OLUFUNKE FADUGBA has worked with the Radio Lagos/Eko FM from 1980 until 1998 when she joined Raypower 100.5FM owned and operated by DAAR communications Plc. She retired as General Manager News, Raypower Fm in 2017. Fadugba has acquired the skill to develop, articulate and interpret strategies in administrative formulation and implementation of editorial policies and networking. In 2005, she participated in the review of the Lagos State Newspapers Law and Formulation of Access to Information Bill, and has facilitated the publications of a few professional books to enhance media practice in Nigeria.

She also had a rich stint in programme production and won the Nigeria Media Merit Award of Radio Producer of the year in 2014.

Fadugba  while in Raypower, was voted News Producer of the year 2006. A labour activist per excellence, she was elected Secretary of the Lagos State Council of the NUJ in 1993, and was elected Chairman of the Lagos Council of the NUJ in 1999, thereby was a member of the National Executive Council of the NUJ for 6 years. She represents the NUJ as a member of the Governing Council of the Nigeria Institute of Journalists (NIJ). 

She is a member of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Nigeria Guild of Editors (NGE), National Association of Women JOURNALISTS (NAWOJ), member Association of Professional Counsellors of Nigeria.

Olufade Oladapo [MEMBER]

OLADAPO ADEKUNLE OLUFADE was a  Trainee Reporter the Nigeria Broadcasting Corporation (NBC now FRCN, Ibadan April 1977) and rose to the position of Senior Reporter. He joined Vanguard Newspapers in August 1990 as Reporter where in 1993 he rose to be Deputy News Editor and News Editor between December 1993 and 2009. He edited Sunday and Saturday Vanguard until May 2011.

OLUFADE joined The Nation newspaper as Chief Production Editor in July 2011 and redeployed as News Coordinator for the weekend titles.

Amos Duniya, MEMBER

AMOS DUNIA started his journalism career with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Abuja, and was there for a period of 11 years. He rose to the position of Senior Reporter and later resigned and joined the defunct Abuja-based newspaper, The Nation, as Acting Political Editor. He moved to New Nigerian Newspapers, Kaduna as State Chief Correspondent. Duniya worked with the Sun newspapers as Chief Correspondent and later Assistant Editor. He was also with the Blueprint newspaper as its pioneering Associate Editor where he served as Head of Political and Features Desk as well as Coordinator of the interview pages. 

s a practicing journalist with over two decades of experience and holds a B. Sc degree in Political Science from the University of Abuja and a National Diploma (ND) in Mass Communications from the University of Jos. He was Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Abuja Council and presently the Editor-in-Chief of Forefront Magazine and online News.

Abdallah EL-Kurebe ,SECRETARY

ABDALLAH EL-KUREBE was state correspondent of Vanguard Newspapers from 1997 to 2013 when he joined Newswatch magazine in August 2013 as Regional Editor (Northwest). He became Editor of an online, Newsdiaryonline.com until 2021 when he established AshenewsDaily.com to become the Editor-in-Chief. 

El-Kurebe is Registrar of the Society of Digital Newspapers Owners of Nigeria (SDNON), and Vice President of Pan-African Association of Agricultural Journalists. 

He is a member of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ); member of the Nigeria Association of Agricultural Journalists (NAAJ); member of Media for Environment, Science, Health and Agriculture (MESHA); member, Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE); Member, African Federation of Science Journalists (AFSJ). 

El-Kurebe is a multiple award-winning Media Fellow, Biosciences for Farming in Africa (B4FA) with the award of B4FA Best Body of Work -In Depth Coverage; Finalist, OFAB Nigeria Media Awards 2017; Best Agric Biotech Reporter (Print), OFAB Nigeria Media Awards 2017 and 1st Runner-up (Print & Online Category) OFAB Africa Media Awards (OMAS) 2017.
