A report by Heifer International, a global development charity, has revealed that only 23 percent of African youth engaged in farming, are using any form of agricultural technologies. The federal government of Nigeria on Thursday has said that it would step up efforts on vaccination amid the rising cases of COVID-19 infections across the country. It also said it was not considering a lockdown in spite of the rising cases. Torrential rain has destroyed no fewer than 1,567 farmlands on Tuesday in Jama’are local government area of Bauchi state.
