To fast-track actualisation of energy transition in Nigeria, the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) says it has initiated process to redesign its programmes and train more Nigerians on gas technology. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), has seized at least 9.5 million tablets of pharmaceutical opioids: Tramadol and Exol 5 worth over N5 billion at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Ikeja Lagos, the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and Edo state. Dangote Fertiliser Limited has announced plans to train over one million farmers in the next three years to enhance the agricultural sector and create jobs. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), has warned Deposit Money Banks (DMBs) to stop bringing “composed banknotes” as part of their deposits with the apex bank. The warning is contained in a circular issued by the Director, Currency Operations Department of CBN, Ahmed Umar which he said took effect from April 1. Composed banknotes are mutilated currency notes comprising several parts of different banknotes of the same denomination.
