The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) says over 463 houses in Obudu, Yala and Ogoja local government areas of Cross River have been destroyed by windstorm, out of the 1,326 households worst affected by the the effects of the windstorm. A Nigerian human rights lawyer and senior advocate of Nigeria, Mike Ozekhome has faulted President Muhammadu Buhari and Council of State for granting pardon to former governors of Plateau and Taraba states, Joshua Dariye and Jolly Nyame.
