Workers at Dangote Savannah Sugar in Numan, Adamawa state have shut down the company in protest over alleged non-payment of workers’ gratuities and improved condition of service since 2003. The Nigeria Union of Traders Association in Ghana (NUTAG), has carried out a peaceful protest over Ghanaian authorities’ refusal to open shops owned by Nigerians in that country. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has confirmed 113 new cases of COVID-19 in the country. The NCDC, which  made this known on its official twitter handle on Saturday, stated that total infections now stand at 61,307. A total of  14 states recorded the 113 infections in the country in the last 24 hours. According to the NCDC, the new cases bring the nation’s confirmed COVID-19 cases to 61,307. Suspected hoodlums on Saturday attacked Osogbo City Mall, vandalised shops and stole electronic gadgets, phones and laptops. Eye witnesses said that the hoodlums stormed the mall on motorcycles at about 7pm, forcing security guards and shops owners to run for safety. Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno on Saturday, donated building materials and cash to 1,111 displaced families from 25 villages in Jere Local Government Area.
