A bill for an act to revert to the old national anthem has passed first, second, and third readings in the House of Representatives. The bill was sponsored by the leader of the House, Rep. The Chief Medical Director (CMD), Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi Araba, Prof. Wasiu Adeyemo, says the NSIA-LUTH Cancer Centre (NLCC) has treated no fewer than 10,000 patients since inception in 2019. Adeyemo spoke in Lagos on the sidelines of the centre’s fifth year anniversary on Wednesday. The CMD said that prior to the period, a large number of patients could not access care for cancer because the machines were not working across the country.
