In continuation of his resolve to get rid of buildings constructed on government property, the Kano state governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, on dead Saturday night, demolished structures at Daula Hotel and Hajj Camp in the metropolis.
Recall that, on Saturday morning, the governor restated his determination to continue demolishing buildings the government believes to be illegal in the state.
A statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sanusi Bature Dwakin Tofa had said the demolition would start with the three storey building of 90 shops on Race Course road, in the Nasarawa GRA, in the early hours of Saturday.
It could be recalled that the immediate past administration of Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje said the buildings at Daula Hotel was a private public partnership.
The developer handling the buildings at the Hajj Camp was directed during a visit to the Hajj Camp by the state governor, to stop work.
