ASHENEWS reports that few weeks after the Green Africa airline announced the expansion of its routes to other cities, the Rano Air has announced that it will commence flight operations across the country on Sunday, May 7th 2023.
Rano Air is owned by the Chairman of one of the popular AA Rano filing stations, Auwalu Abdullahi Rano.
According to an infograph posted by the management on its official Twitter handle @RanoAir on Thursday, the airline will start with the Abuja-Maiduguri, Abuja-Kano, Abuja-Sokoto, Abuja-Lagos routes.
The infograph further indicated that the airline will later expand it’s routes to Port Harcourt, Kaduna, Gombe, Yola, and Asaba.
“The management of Rano Air wishes to inform the flying public that its flight operations will be flagged off by the Governor of Kano State, Dr. Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, on Sunday 7th May, 2023 at the domestic terminal of the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano at 10:00 AM. Commercial flights Abuja and Kano to the various cities of Nigeria will commence immediately thereafter,” the statement reads.
