Sokoto state governor, Aminu Tambuwal has nominated three persons for appointment as members of the State Executive Council, to the State House of Assembly.
This is contained in a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Saidu Umar issued on Tuesday.
The nominees are Prof Aminu Illela, who is currently the Provost, College of Agriculture, Wurno; Shuaibu Gobir, who is the Chairman State Universal Basic Education Board and Hassan Maccido, a retired Permanent Secretary in the State Civil Service.
