A technology company, EDRIMS, has urged Nigerians to leverage digital platforms to showcase their expertise and talent to both local and international markets.
Dr. Charles Edrims, Chairman and CEO of the firm, made the call on Friday in Abuja while unveiling the company’s AI-supported mobile application to the media.
He said it had become essential for professionals to digitize their knowledge, experience and skills in order to earn sustainable income from the comfort of their homes.
Edrims said the mobile app, which will be formally launched on Sunday, is designed to financially empower Nigerians.
He also highlighted an empowerment workshop being organized by the company, scheduled to hold the same day.
“The ‘Digitalize Your Legacy’ workshop, happening on November 30, is a practical economic strategy for everyday Nigerians who are tired of working hard with little to show,” he said.
“Participants will learn how to uncover hidden expertise they may not even realist they have, convert that knowledge into simple digital assets, and automate sales using EDRIMS.
“They will also learn how to create long-term income streams and build digital legacy assets that can outlive them.
“Every attendee will leave with a clear roadmap, a complete digital-asset blueprint and access to the EDRIMS ecosystem, if they choose.”
According to him, for the first time, Nigerian professionals will be exposed to systems used by artists and influences to earn money passively.
He said the initiative would particularly benefit retirees and workers approaching retirement.
“Nigeria is changing, and life after retirement is uncertain. People who have contributed to society for decades now fear poverty in old age.
“This workshop offers a way out—not through politics or luck, but through the one thing nobody can take from you: your knowledge.
“When a person turns what they know into an asset, they finally begin to earn what they truly deserve,” he added.
Edrims said the platform would help participants convert years of mastery and experience into income-generating digital assets.
He noted that many Nigerians struggle financially in old age due to systemic challenges.
“For many Nigerians, that is where the fear begins—the fear of old age, the fear of bills, the fear of becoming a burden,” he said.
The workshop is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the National Centre for Women Development. Interested participants can register at www.EDRIMS.org.
