The Adefaka Royal Family of Akure South Local Government Area, Ondo State, has congratulated the Osolo of Isolo Kingdom, Oba (Dr.) Edward Kolawole Adejoyegbe Adewole, Osalade II, on the celebration of his seventh coronation anniversary.
In a message, the family described the monarch’s seven-year reign as one marked by peace, progress, and renewed hope for the people of the Isolo autonomous community. The statement noted that Oba Adewole’s leadership has brought “succour and a ray of light” to the kingdom.
The congratulatory statement was jointly signed by Babatunde Saliu Abiodun Adefaka, Chairman and Head of the Adefaka Royal Family, and Bashir Olorunkemi Adefaka, the Family’s Secretary and Public Relations Officer.
“Our royal father, we greet you on this day that belongs to you and all of us. You have shown love, dedication, and humility in service to your people,” the statement read. “Our late father, Prince Kasumu Yesufu Daniel Adefaka, recognized your divine emergence and urged us to honour you. Since his passing earlier this year, you have continued to fill the void with fatherly care.”
The family expressed its unwavering pride and affection for the monarch, describing him as “a father in a million” with a pure heart and unwavering love for his people.
The Adefaka Royal Family also extended appreciation to the Ondo State Governor, His Excellency Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for his support in maintaining peace across the state’s traditional institutions, including Akure South. They equally paid tribute to the late former Governor Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu, acknowledging his foundational role in the stability of Ondo State.
Prayers were offered for Oba Adewole to enjoy long life and enduring impact on the throne of his forefathers.
