In Nigeria, 10 states stand out where women justify wife beating for burning food.
According to the National Demographic Health Survey of 2018 (NDHS 2018), Kebbi state had the highest with 66.9 percent, while Nasarawa has the lowest with 14.5 percent.
The Northern part of Nigeria dominates the survey with nine states and the West only has Abia, which is also the second to the last on the list with 20.6 percent.
