…Congratulates Tinubu, Kashim for a well deserved victory
Senator Grace Jackson Bent has told the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and the Labour Party (LP), Atiku Abubakar, and Peter Obi that their approach to the court to challenge the victory of Bola Tinubu, is an exercise in futility.
She described Tinubu’s victory as sacrosanct and advised the duo not to waste their time.
According to her, engaging in a legal tussle on the widely adjudged credible election will amount to unnecessary distraction to hold down the process of leadership to thrive.
She claimed that Atiku, and Obi’s action would have no positive impact in the judiciary and democratic systems.
Grace who is a senior party member of the APC in Adamawa state, said that the last election results were a true reflection of Nigerians’ honest votes.
The legislator who represented the Adamawa Southern zone between 2007 and 2011, congratulated Tinubu and Kashim Shettima for a well-deserved victory.
“I believe in the duo style of leadership, the ticket will unite us more than the thinking of many who are selfish to look at it from the religious point of view.
“I wish them good tenure in office, I know in their ticket Nigerians will smile again,” Grace said
