The Katsina state chapter of Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, has commiserated with the state governor, Aminu Masari on his 71th birthday anniversary.
A statement by the chairperson, Hannatu Mohammed made available to ASHENEWS on Saturday, described the governor as kind, simple and selfless.
“Your life is a lesson defined by simplicity, kindness, humility, humbleness, selflessness, presence of mind and total commitment to the cause of your people and humanity in general. These attributes have endeared you enormously to one and all who have come in contact with you.
“As you mark the 71 anniversary of your sojourn on the planet earth, let me on behalf of Katsina State NAWOJ, wish you more success than ever in the upcoming years, especially on the attainment of this milestone.
“NAWOJ also congratulates you for successfully completing the second year of your second tenure in office as the elected governor of our dear Katsina state.
“As you add another chapter of your life as a person and a leader, I pray to Allah (SWT) to guide and increase you in health, wisdom, courage and foresight so that you may be able to whether the formidable security challenges, notably banditry, bedevilling the state, and the country at large.
