An early morning fire disaster in Gubio town of Northern Borno, Nigeria, on Tuesday morning, destroyed all the lock-up shops at the community market.
The fire razed the 24 lock-up shops with many storing grain, Agro chemicals, provision and other commodities all destroyed as the traders counted their losses.
The caretaker chairman of Gubio local government, Mali Bulama inspected the burnt shops for an on-the-spot assessment of the extent of damage and traders’ losses.
He promised to rebuild the destroyed market shops and assist the victims.
