President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered that the leadership of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Committee, CECCC, should return to status quo.
The president gave the order in a letter to the Chairman, Progressive Governors Forum, Abubakar Bagudu on Wednesday.
According to Buhari, Yobe state governor, Mai Mala Buni remains the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Committee and should be given necessary support to carry out the National Convention as planned.
He also directed all members of the Governors Forum and their followers to desist from making utterances that could lead to disunity in our party.
